The must-see visits: the Valère and Tourbillon castles in Sion, the Grand Dixence dam, the largest in the world with its 285 m height; the Giannada museum in Martigny, the thermal baths of Saillon or Ovronnaz, the village of Saillon, the old town of Sion and its weekly market (Friday) and Roman Gallic sites in Martigny.
