Vaudoise Alps

In summer, the Vaud Alps are worth a visit: visit the vineyards and wine cellars, taking part at genuine alpine cheese making (Etivaz AOC...), silhouette art, visit the unique Bex salt mines, getting relaxed at the thermal springs in Lavey-les-Bains, discovering traditional mountain villages, being stunned by dreamy mountain lakes and even more by breathtaking views (from the revolving restaurant Kuklos for instance), wandering through deep gorges and more than 500 km of hiking trails. Getting adventurous on over 150 km of mountain bike trails.

  • Glacier 3000 - Snow all year round – a breathtaking view, the Peak Walk by Tissot suspension bridge, a walk on the glacier, great hiking trails, a challenging via ferrata... or a snow bus tour, or the Alpine Coaster - the highest installation of sleds on rails in the world
  • Salt Mines - In the heart of the salt mountain – Today, the Bex Salt Mines constitute a huge underground labyrinth, several kilometres of which are open to visitors. The route allows you to discover the most spectacular and characteristic elements of the various operating techniques used since the opening of the first gallery, dug in 1684, until today.
  • Bains de Lavey - A source of youth – At the foot of the Dents du Midi and the Dents de Morcles, very close to the high peaks, in the heart of the valley, there is a thermal eden. . Lavey Baths
  • Free Access - 35 activities – In Villars, Gryon or Les Diablerets, do it all for free or at low prices! To discover all the facets of the mountain in summer, the Free Access Card is your gateway to unlimited activities and transport from May 30 to October 27, 2019.
